After receiving a BA in English Literature at Newcastle University, Giulietta Verdon-Roe moved to NYC to study at the International Center of Photography. She then worked as a photographer and Assistant Photo Editor at the Village Voice, America’s largest weekly newspaper. Later she worked as an Assistant Black and White Printer to Master Printer Teresa Engle Moreno, working with negatives by photographers such as Robert Capa and Bruce Davidson. Giulietta is currently based in London and her personal work focuses on a long-term documentary in Orkney, Scotland.
